Focus14 marked the seventh year of McAfee and EVI’s long-term partnership producing the world’s leading conference on Internet security. With McAfee transitioning to become Intel Security, this year’s conference took on special significance. New leadership and a revised brand look and feel added communications opportunities above and beyond the already tall list of objectives.
A record 3,000 McAfee enterprise customers gathered to hear about the strategic direction of the company, learn about Intel Security’s innovative product offerings, attend an expansive technology showcase and participate in a multitude of interactive track sessions.
Turnkey project management and producing is an EVI forte, and Focus is a perfect illustration. EVI works with McAfee year-round to design and integrate the complex strategic, financial, creative, production, technical and venue elements.
Produced within a dynamic, technically sophisticated and brand immersive environment, the general session program featured keynote presentations by all the company heads of state, including Intel President Renee James, newly appointed SVP and GM of Intel Security Chris Young, and EVP and CTO Michael Fey.
Punctuating the global importance of the event, Former US Secretary of State, Dr. Condoleezza Rice delivered a compelling keynote address.
A gathering of this magnitude demands a powerful delivery framework, and EVI’s creative team are among the industry’s most talented at dreaming up an inspiring arrangement of set elements and visual continuity. The creative platform for the general sessions spanned the entire width of the massive ballroom at the Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas.
Anchored by a super cinematic widescreen, the environment extended outward with large HD screens framed by custom 3-D projection mapped structures…and from there, beautifully abstract LED panel configurations. The team painted the canvas with a visual explosion of original media to support every moment of the sessions. A cinematic opening short film, artistic custom mapping, colorful LED art, business multimedia presentations and branded motion visuals provided a dynamic and immersive attendee experience.
